January 22, 2021, at the Government House, Government Spokesperson Anucha Burapachaisri disclosed that the cabinet has made approval to the national budget framework (FY2022) for the development of sciences, research and innovation which is composed of: a) Strategic Fund: 14,640 million Baht for Competitive Funding, and b) Fundamental Fund: 9,760 million Baht for Basic Research Fund and Functional-based Research Fund.
