Cambodia’s exports to the world’s biggest economy is on the rise, continuing its consecutive growth since last year, despite the global health crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
This reflects the strong demand of Cambodian products in the U.S. market.
Data from the U.S.’ Census Bureau showed that Cambodia exported $580 million worth of goods to the U.S., an increase by 3.7 percent compared to the same period last year.
The two-way trade between the two nations rose by 5 percent to $614 million in January 2021, according to the data.
Cambodia’s main goods exported to the U.S. were garment products, footwear and travel products, while the main products imported from the U.S. were vehicle, animal feeds, and machinery, etc.
