Indonesia’s economy projected to grow 2.1 pct in Q1: senior minister

Indonesia’s economy is projected to grow between 1.6 percent and 2.1 percent in the first quarter of 2021, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Harharto said Friday.

The Indonesian government has set an economic growth target of between 4.5 percent and 5 percent in 2021, and expects to see a growth between 1.6 percent and 2.1 percent in the first quarter, the senior minister told a virtual press conference.
