Poland has become Europe’s biggest producer of lithium-ion batteries used in electric vehicles, according to an NGO.
A factory owned by South Korean electric giant LG located near the western Polish city of Wrocław is next year set to become the world’s largest electric car battery factory, with an annual production capacity of 100 GWh, state news PAP reported, citing a report by Brussels-based NGO Transport & Environment.
