Unemployment in Poland rose to 6.5 percent in January, from 6.2 percent in December, the state-run Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported on Tuesday.
The figure was in line with an earlier estimate by the country’s labour ministry.
There were around 1,090,400 people without jobs across the nation at the end of January, compared with 1,046,400 a month earlier, according to the Central Statistical Office.
